Greenleaf Architectural Design, formerly Stephen Greenleaf, Architect was founded in 1994, originally located in Stephen’s home in Providence.  The firm has evolved and prospered while continuing to pursue projects with complex and interesting programs.

Notable commissions have included;

  • Providence Place Academy: An original Providence school located in the Providence Place Mall and offering a practical retail orientation to High School.
  • Sakonnet River Pie: A tiny, award winning commercial kitchen and shop in rural Little Compton.
  • Station Fire Memorial Park: A tribute to those lost in the infamous local tragedy along with those otherwise affected-the entire region.
We at Greenleaf Architectural Design enjoy designing new homes, small commercial projects, and especially additions and renovations.  Of particular interest is incorporating sustainable design practices.  Throughout our years in business, we have continued to pursue exceptional solutions to design problems presented by a variety of project types.  Supported by an extended network of consultants, engineers and trades people, we are prepared to provide responsive service and original designs for projects of all varieties.
